The “Federal Asado Championship” takes place annually in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Drawing up to 200,000 locals and tourist in the city, a day for a great asado, music and family fun.

On November 17 th , this traditional event will now have its own version hosted by the City of Doral. With participation of renowned local restauranteurs selling typical Argentine and Latin American products, the afternoon will be filled with musical shows and more exciting surprises.

The access to the event is FREE.

The ASADO masters will compete. All teams will have to roast a set of typical argentine meat cuts.

They will work with their own tools and and will all receive the same ingredients, meat and charcoal.

In turn, they will have at their disposal bread and condiments. A jury composed of famous representatives of the culinary world and institutional Argentine and local representatives will decide on the best “argentine asador” of this event. An event not to be missed!

Note: An “asado” usually consists of beef, pork, chicken, chorizo and morcilla which are cooked on a grill, called a parrilla, or an open fire.
